I read the comment that you left about it being best to have dental treatment during the second trimester of pregnancy but what if I already had the treatment in the first trimester when I did not know that I was pregnant,I also beleive that i took some of that injection down my throat, what is the worst that could come of this.Thank you for your advise.

You will be just fine!!!!!! The reason we don't recommend dental treatment in the first tri is because it can be stressful for you and then the baby. No one likes going to the dentist and that can cause undo stress. Also the injection has epenephrine which can cause rapid heart rate sometimes. Don't worry about it. You don't have to worry about the injection even if it did go down your throat a bit. I am soooo sorry I worried you. Your pregnancy will be GREAT!!!! Your little one will say hello to the world very healthy!!! Peggy
