Afterbirth

My doctor told me everything is ok with my baby, but that I was carrying the afterbirth low which may be a problem later. What problems could that be?

It's called Placenta Previa, where the placenta covers the cervix and makes labor impossible. Depending on how far along you are, this usually corrects itself from what I understand. Good luck!

At my 20 week ultersound they thought mine was low also. Than I had an ultersound at 30 weeks and it had corrected itself. How far are you?

my understanding is if the placenta is covering the cervix (and does not correct itself) you will need a c-section as like miranda said it makes v____al labour impossible.
