Angry Normal

Me - April 9

I'm in my first trimester of pregnancy. I have been biting my husband's head off at the least provocation. And that's not including the times that I'm down-right hateful telling him to shutup or leave me alone. Is this normal for the beginning of a pregnancy? I can still be nice and loving and have normal conversations with him. It's like I have a split personality. :) Will this go away soon?

Dear Me, I'm afraid I've been suffering from pregnancy induced schizophrenia too. Lol! I was bothered about it at first but having read some of the often contradictory and b___hy comments on this site, I've come to believe it's perfectly normal behaviour. :-) You may find it eases a little in your second trimester, as your hormones settle down, but do expect the occasional relapse! I try to make up for it by being extra loving and attentive to my husband whenever the "nice" me is in town. So far, this has worked and he's bearing up remarkably well. :-)
