I am a little panicked. At 12dpo hcg was 48, 15dpo it was 298, 16dpo it was 1200, 22dpo it was 12,179. I am 5weeks 2 days. On u/s they could only see the gest. sac and yolk sac. I heard that at this level you should see heartbeat or twins. Anyone had these high of levels and it turned out OK?

Maybe , u ARE carrying twins , but it was too early to see the 2 sacs or 2 heartbeats. I am no pro so don't take my words for it .good luck !

My hcg was high early in pregnancy (at 6 weeks it was around 60,000) and everything so far is fine. I had an u/s at 8 weeks to check viability (my dr wantedto wait and make sure what we saw would be an accurate picture of the pregnancy rather than risking it being too early and not seeing hb) and a DA right after so they gave me a short report to give the dr and before he opened it he asked me how it went and then if there was just one baby. I guess he suspected there could be twins but there was only one. I have read that prometrium and a couple other things can cause high hcg, are you taking any medication that could cause high hcg? I was on prometrium. Also hcg levels do not really predict when hb should be visible, it does predict when there will be something to see at all. Under 10,000 means you are not likely to see anything. I have had 4 m/c's prior to this pregnancy (I will be 22 weeks Tuesday) and my hcg was never as high as it was this time with my other pregnancies so it was a good sign for me and I'm sure everything is alright with you too!
