Hi, Please help me! I am 12 weeks, and got a doppler off the internet. Its so amazing to hear the heart beat! Everytime I have tried it, my baby seems to be really down low, on my left side, along my bikini line. I have listened to it a couple of times a day, for about 4 days now. And the baby hasnt moved position. Is this normal? I worried that it should be moving around. And should it be so far down and to one side? Anyone? Help please!

That's exactly why I DONT rent those things... You are worrying for no reason. Quite honestly, at 12 weeks, where is it supposed to move to? Your uterus isn't that big yet. Get rid of the doppler before you scare yourself to death. Everything is fine...

yeah, I see your point. I supppose it hasnt got any where to move too. I had a miscarraige in November, so I got the doppler for a bit of rea__surance. It has helped - hearing hte heart beat. First scan next week so I will feel better then. Thanks for your comment and rea__surance that all is ok and its not going to move much!

I have been through many a m/c. I know how desparate you can be to want to know ALL the time your little one is ok, but trust me, don't stress out until there is reason to.. You will be much better and your baby will too for it!!! Best of luck to you!!

You have no cause to worry. Most babies don't start moving around until after 15 weeks. I mean, yeah you can start to feel them move after about 12, but babies generally move when they are uncomfortable or when stimulated to move. Don't worry.

Mine stayed down super low like that until after 23 weeks!
