hi, i need to know what are the risk factors if i am underweight and i get pregnant, and how to improve on it

There are risks to being underweight and being pregnant. You need to do a search on the internet and you will find a ton of information. You need to try to get to a healthy weight before you become pregnant. If you are already pregnant, just do your best to eat healthy and have enough calories to sustain the pregnancy.

I was anorexic and bullimic in high school, little did I know that I was pregnant, i weighed 92lbs at 5'1" when i found out that I was 9 weeks pregnant, i was living with my fiances family, my mom flipped out and made me move back home, so I could con't the pregnancy eating healthy, i gained weight very slowly inthe first 4 1/2 months, however, I went intopre-mature labor with my son at 20 weeks, i was pu ton strict bedrest, my total weight gain for him was 65lbs, they think the complications was from my low weight in the first trimester, so you should see your Dr first to dtermine how much you should weigh before getting pregnant.

HI JJ. MY PRE PREGNANCY WIEGHT WAS 120, THEN WHEN I FOUND I WAS PREGNANT I LOST 20 POUNDS, BUT I HAVE HYPERTHYRIODISM. SO I WAS REAL SCARED, BUT EVERYTHING TURNED OUT OK. MY BABY IS NOW 4 MONTHS OLD AND HEALTHY
