Breech Baby At 36 Weeks

I went to see my midwife yesterday and she was trying to locate my baby's head and said she couldn't find where it was positioned. She thinks he may be breeched and is sending me for another ultrasound scan. I am 36 weeks and if my baby is breech, how likely is it that he will turn within the next 3 or 4 weeks?

There is still a good chance; many babies turn at this point spentaneously, some even right before birth......though if the baby doesn't turn in the next couple of weeks you may have to decide if you want to attempt an ECV or c-section. ECV is usually done at week 37/38.

There are ways to turn the baby before he is born if he doesn't turn himself. Ask your Dr.
