Burning Back Pain

This is my second pregnancy, I am having really bad back pain (focusing on my lower right side). It is a burning sharp pain, this was not an issue with my first. Any suggestions? I did inform my ob last Tuesday when I went for my visit, they acted as though it was common. I am about 4 to 6 weeks along.

A lot of women experience back pain with their pregnancy (including me). I was told that it's caused by your pelvis changing and expanding in order to compensate for the baby. I had it so bad last week that no amount of running, or anything would help. But if you lay on your back (I found lying on my side made it worse) in bed, and just give your back a break, it helps a lot. My pain is almost nearly gone, but I also hear that back pain can/will last the entire pregnancy. But yes, it is common.

GO TO ivillage.com I JUST READ ALL OF THAT GO TO THE WEEK BY WEEK AROUND 8 WEEKS. IT WONT LAST THE WHOLE PREGNANCY JUST TILL ABOUT 20 WEEKS.
