Can T Sleep

I am almost 28 weeks and have such terrible back pain that I can hardly get a good night's sleep! I have one of those pregnancy body pillows and it doesn't help and we also just bought a new mattress several months ago. I just don't know what to do I am so tired!

Get some excercise a few hours before you go to bed. Maybe take a long walk or something. I know that wont really help with the back pain but maybe your body will be so tired you'll fall right to sleep.

There are a couple sleeping pills that are safe during pregnancy - not sure of the names, I will look and then post again.

Try a warm bath before bedtime to loosen your back muscles up. We have a jacuzzi tub and when my back starts to ache like that I take a nice warm bath. Not too hot of course. Poor baby probably doesn't know what's going on with all that water shooting around and making all that noise! But it feels great.
