Cant Go To The Bathroom

I am 12 wks. and I can't go to the bathroom very const_tapated (spelling) what can I use that is safe and healthy for me and baby? thanks

I eat lots of cereal with fiber in it... like frosted mini wheats... i've only been constipated once... and it didn't last long.. haha... fiber keeps you regular :)

Eat some oatmeal, and go for a little walk after dinner to get things moving. Also, you can eat ripe bananas (my mom swears by them.) Of course there's the old standby, prune juice, but use it in small doses until you know what it will do to you. I gave it to my daughter when she hadn't pooped for a week, and the results were explosive.

Try drinking some prune juice - that might do the trick!

Drink lots of water. It makes the stool soft so you can pa__s it out.

I eat Cheerios all the time. Also any cereal with whole grains. Ex: Lucky Charms, Frost Mini Wheats. I haven't been constipated at all.

You can take Metamucil every couple of days or Milk of Magnesia or whatever it's called. It's on the safe list my doc gave me for the same problem you're having. Sometimes I'll drink a cup of coffee in the morning and that really helps me out :)
