i love at home, and my sister and her 6 month old baby live here too.we think He's got the chicken pox and i just want to know what harm could this do to my baby, im 23 weeks. thanks

Have you had the chicken pox yourself. This will make all the difference. If you have been exposed, no harm will be done to your baby. If not, this is a entirely different story. Please let me know. You may need to contact your doctor immediately. The varicella virus is highly contagious and very dangerous for pregnant women and their unborn babies, if the mother has never been exposed.

Perfect:) Glad to hear that!! I just went through this myself. I have never had an outbreak of the pox so I was tested prior to pregnancy to see if I had the antibodies (would indicate past exposure). Sure enough I have the varicella antibodies and must have had a mild case that went undetected. Lucky me.
