I am currently ttc, but my iron is still really low from my csection 9 months ago. I think I may already be pregnant and it just now occured to me that being pregnant again and having such low iron is probably pretty dangerous to not only myself but my baby. Does anyone have any information to share on this, or any advice on how to keep my iron supplements down I have a very weak stomache which is why I havent been taking them even though my doctor prescribed them to me.

I take an iron supplement for anemia, and usually cant tolerate them. I switched to taking mine in the evening with a stool softener pill as well right after dinner. I have never been constipated or stomache achey with this method - although I still only take them about 4 to 5 times a week.
