If the cramping is severe you should call your doctor or whoever is on call tonight. Some cramping is normal and certainly backaches are also as the uterus expands. If it bad enough that you are doubled over or feel it is unusual, please call the doc. Also, if you start to bleed with the cramps, you may be having a miscarriage. As far as not showing the same amount on a day to day basis, that is normal. I am 16 weeks and my belly varies day to day as well as within the same day. It all depends on bloating, how much you ate, pooping.... Good luck and I hope you are well.

Is cramping with a missed period a sign of pregnancy? I have had cramping around the time of my period but it never came, now Im 3 weeks late! I cant get a blood test till next week and im really curious now! I have nausea with vomitting or dry heaving, sore b___sts, fatigue, head aches, and this stretching discomfort in my lower abdomin. I have also had crampy pains and it comes and goes and goes around to my lower back. It doesnt hurt just really uncomfortable. Can you tell me what is going on? I also wanted to know if my stomach should be hard? When I am standing it feels bloated and hard, but sitting it doesnt really feel any different. I was pregnant once before but it ended in a miscarriage and I was a month and a half and could feel like this rock hard ball when I touched it. I dont feel that now, could I still be pregnant this time?
