Yes, and it's very normal. It's your uterus stretching and growing. You'll feel it throughout the rest of your pregnancy. Good luck!! :o)

Thanks for the good news, I was just a little worried. It's kind of wierd when I get them, They woke me up last night.

Is that the same as a Braxton Hicks? I get that cramping too, especially when standing up. It's not painful or anything, just feels tight. Yet it's hard for me to tell ow long it lasts. I a__sume the BH's are different? (I'm 24 weeks)

Braxton Hicks usually happen later in pregnancy, during the 3rd trimester. You can feel B/H over your entire stomach, whereas the cramping Jessica is experiencing is usually on either side and does not radiate throughout your entire uterus. :o)

Well, I certainly feel a tightening throughout my whole area not just on the side. But it is hard to determin how long it is as it goes away over a minute or so very gradually and only seems to happen once every 1-2 days,. Plus I am only 24 weeks so I a__sume it's still the stretching thing.

Tiffani is right, The cramping that I feel is not all over. It's more like the cramps that you get on your sides during your period. I used to still get them in the first trimester but haven't had them again until now. I am not to worried anymore.
