I know that you are supposed to use a different more delicate detergent on baby's clothes and sheets like Ivory Snow, but does anyone know if you could still use Bounce?

Anyone??

People tell me they get best results with dye-free and perfume-free detergent than the expensive baby marketed detergents. Most say that fabric softeners can irritate baby skin.

It is actually not good to use fabric softener on babies and childrens clothing. It will remove the flame retardant that is standard on most of the little one's items. I believe there is even a disclaimer on the side of the box/bottle that it increases flamibility.

oh yeah, and dreft is a great detergent for the baby's stuff :)

Thanks girls for your responses. So, I shouldn't use any dryer sheets or fabric softner? Won't baby's clothes get static? Sorry for the stupid questions-
