I delivered the end of July and I'm still tender where they cut me for my episiotomy. It doesn't hurt but when touched it is tender.

Have you gone in for a check up recently?

I did 6 weeks after birth. My doctor did not deliver my baby the on-call doctor did. When I went in he said everything looked good. But I wondering will the tenderness go away?

May be you should go back in and see your doctor again and tell him/her that it's still sore and you want some answers on how long this could take to heal; worse case scenario. Then you will have some idea. Doctors can be so vague and it really annoys me.

I agree, you should go back. You never know you could have an infection, there are so many ways that can happen. Hope everything gets better.

Mine was the same. The Doctor kept saying it was healing fine......it just took longer than i thought. I know its hard, the only relief i could find was nice warm baths. Good Luck
