If you are pregnant, by now you should be feeling some major changes in your body. During this time frame you should feel the baby growing inside you if you are. Explain to the doctors what your symptoms done. Don't just except one type of test result. Use a variety. I would have a blood test done. Hope this sheds some light for you, good-luck!!!!

In answer to your question. Yes you can be pregnant and not know about it till you give birth. It does happen in some cases. Although i always wonder how the hell you wouldnt know you had a baby inside you growing for that amount of time. I am amazed it can happens really. But it does!

I agree with Arch. before being pregnant, i thought it was possible. What did I know, or why should I care? Now that I am, I just can't see NOT knowing. Especially when the baby moves, and your belly has all these weird shapes. Or when you take a rib shot from a sharp little foot, and the hiccups! If I had no idea, once I started feeling all of that, I would pray it was pregnancy rather than anything else.

i was told that only in cases of sevearly overweight/obese woman that a pregnancy can go unknown. Because the swelling of the uterus doesn't show up, not only that but your organs are so displaced anyways that the movement of a baby can't be felt... weird huh... imagine giving birth to a child.. and never even knowing it existed to begin with...

your doctors are the ones who can tell if you are pregnant.... so if they say you arent, that means your not. Sometimes you may think you are because your MAKING yourself think you are. If you make yourself think you are, then you will make yourself feel odd things that you will mistake as pregnancy. So, listen to your doctors.

I have known someone that went through a phantom pregnancy. The wierd thing is her tummy even grew like she had a baby in her. She was mortified when she went through it as she desperatley wanted a child.

Teresa, i can totally relate to you, About 4 years ago, i had just filed for divorce from my them husband, I had met a gorgeous guy and decided to sleep with him, we used a condom, but i went a few months w/o a period, i I totally flipped out, knowing this would look real bad during a divorce, heck I wasn't even dating the man I had slept with, I took several Preg Test, all were NEG, I actaully went 11 months without a period, Dr said nothing was wrong, So i wouldn't worry too much, if you still arent' satisified get a 2nd opinion, and get an ultrasound. Good luck

Possibly go to a clinic to seek a second opinion. Also if it's been this long since you've had a prd, your doctor should be looking into what is causing the abcense of it if you are indeed not pregnant.
