I have 3 girls and one boy and I remember only having acne problems with my boy during pregnancy. Now with my 5th pregnancy I have acne again.

I had bad acne with my son and I think it may be due to producing so much testosterone. I read somewhere that when having a boy your body has to produce so much testosterone and I know I gained a lot of weight this is also due to that so maybe the acne is also a result of this because our bodies arn't used to it? I'm no expert just a guess.

I hope that you are right because this is my first and I have red bumps all over my face and they came right after the s_x organs on the baby were supposed to be developed.

i belive that when you get pregnet that the reason your face breaks out is because of all th hormones that your body produce after becoming pregnet... some people belive the wives tales are true but everyone is different with every pregnancy...just an idea...but good luck anyways

I am 9 weeks and have been breaking out in my T zone. I have had a m/c and am scared about another one b/c my face broke out after it too-should I be worried?

Priscilla~ I was the opposite. I had acne with my daughter, and not with my son. I understood the old wives tale to be that if the mother got acne durning pregnancy, it was because of all the extra hormones needed to produce a baby girl. I guess that's just what they are, "tales."
