Hey everyone!!! Hope everyone is doing great. My question is that I have leg cramps BAD almost every night. I also have hemorrhoidsthat bleed.Lastly, I feel dizzy sometimes like I'm going to pass out.I'm just now 6months along and my friend who just had a baby 3months ago said it gets worse. IS THAT TRUE??

everyone is different. I am 18 weeks now, and have had no problems that you have listed. For leg cramps have you tried exercise in the day, stretching, and a ma__sage from your partner. I have heard of Restless Leg Syndrome. You might want to look into that. As for the dizziness, you may be getting up way too fast. Have you told your doctor? It might be with your blood sugar too. As for the dreaded hems... yucky. I have had girlfriends you had them. They increased their fibre and water intake and it seemed to prevent them. I am sure you have been to the doc for all these things. Just read up on everything. I hope it all works out. Take control of your health- even though I myself feel like there are times I have no control of anything my body does. Best of luck. I will be sending you positive vibes

I too have been fortunate and not experiencing these things. I have had some awful leg (calf) cramps pre pregnancy though and for me it was lack of water. This can also help with the roids too. I find that if I don't get enough water, things can get a bit "bunged" up. Give some extra water a try and see if that helps at all

Thanks Stephanie.I need all the positive vibes I can get. I go to the doc. today so I plan on asking him.

My hubby tells me that too, Charlene.Water does do alot. Unfortunately Water sometimes triggers my gag reflex.I will try wo get more water to see if it helps.

I am 25 weeks preggo... I have the same problems... only the leg cramps have just started. I actually take stool softeners to help the 'roids'.... it helps loosen things up...lol. Sometimes prenatal vitamins make pooing a hard and rough experience, which the strain causes the 'roids'..lol. Drink lots of water...and juices help too! as far as the leg cramps...stretch and try to keep 'em elevated. I sleep with my feet proped up on pillows... which is rough when sleeping on your side... but still helps. Warm baths also help with the cramps. The dizzy thing... I eat crackers... I think that has something to either do with turning your head or getting up to fast, or low blood sugar. The pa__sing out part makes me think blood sugar which can be helped with peanut b___ter and crackers. I have heard (from my doctor) that it does get rougher... but everyone is different... just try different remedies to help ease the discomfort!

Thanks for your response, Christi.Luckily I only have 3 months to go.The thing I haven't tried is a stool softener for my const. and 'roid problem.Any brand that works the best.

A good friend of mine cannot drink plain water either, so she mixes a bit of lemon juice in and that seems to help.

There was one stool softener on the list that my doctor gave me... but it was pretty expensive... so I actually bought Corectol... Correcterol...lol... something like that... I checked for the 'ingredients'... it was exactly the same as the expensive stuff.... I didnt get the laxitive one.... because unfortunately I cannot afford to be pooing at work...lol... try it and see how it works for you!!! Congrats on the whole 3 months left... you must be so excited... I have until March 15th... I cannot wait.
