Does This Always Mean Miscarriage From M

I am 5 weeks with a history of miscarriage. Last Monday, my hcg was 87. By Friday morning, it was 490... everything looking great. On Friday I had a lot of abdominal "tightening"..... almost felt like Braxton Hicks, but I'm only 5 weeks. Saturday morning I had some extremely light spotting. Barely pink tinged CM. It scared me, so I went to the ER. My levels were at 232. He gave me paperwork on miscarriage, and in my head I know that's what is happening. But my heart is still hoping and holding on. Has anyone ever heard of dropping HCG that DIDN'T result in miscarriage? I sitll haven't started bleeding and it is Sunday morning. Nor have I started any intense pain.

Dear ~m~, I'm so sorry. Your dropping levels indicate a lost pregnancy. I have lost 4 myself, and know almost all the signs. I'm so sorry. I know how happy you were. I send you a truly heart-felt cyber hug! I'm so sorry for your loss! :(

I can't say I'm sorry because it won't help but dropping HCg levels will probaly result in miscarriage!I have suffered 2 miscarriages in my life and am now 20 weeks pregnancy. In both my pregnancy that ended my HCg levels dropped and almost 2 weeks later they were down to 0 and I started cramping and bleeding.I'm so sorry!

Nancy,I think this site says you can make a post about whatever you please. So, if she wants to make a post abour this than she can.She is here to get guidance, help and support she is not here to listen to pathetic b___hy people like you. And, it sounds like to me that you want to miscarry, quote "i mean hey im pregnant now but its onyl a matter of how long, but im not advertising it." -nancy And, yes people do want to hear it,because if they didn't they wouldn't reply!

Ermm - February 27

Shes not advertising it shes talking to other women who have been through the same thing or maybe will one day in the future these are pregnancy boards its not all happy times its women talking and sharing experiences so quit ya b___hin

I swear that is the meanest thing i've come across on this board. You say you've had many miscarriages, so you should know how difficult it is to deal with one. ~m~ was asking an honest question hoping against hope that what she thought was happening wasn't. I'm sure that added kick in the teeth was just what she needed. What the post was about wasn't a secret so if you didn't want to know you shouldn't have read it. Some women may take comfort in knowing they're not alone in having difficulty holding a pregnancy and others may appreciate a "heads up" so if it does happen to them it's slightly less of a shock. Just knowing the odds of it happening was something of a comfort to me so when it did happen I didn't feel like it was all my fault; that I had done something wrong. So how about you take your nasty little self elsewhere and leave us, who care about others, to talk amongst ourselves?

And to the ladies being supportive, thank you so much. Reality tells me it is coming. But I'm somewhat of a dreamer, so I keep trying to convince myself that I'll get a miracle. That's probably not healthy. This will be miscarriage # 4 for me. Hopefully my doc will finally run some tests to figure out what is going on. Thanks again for your kind words.... and thanks for giving "nancy" what she deserves! :o)

~m~ my dear, please never let me p__s you off!! I hope everything works out for you and you have my deepest heartfelt sympathies. Nancy seems to have received much more attention than she is worth. Let her go about her own miserable existence and try not to let her upset you anymore then she already has.

Kim - February 27

~m~, I am so sorry to hear about what is happening to you. My thoughts and prayers are with you. As for Nancy, her att_tude says it all. People like here are not wanted here, now or ever! With any luck, she'll go away and sink back into her own little miserable world.

nancy- it seems to me that you have now turned this whole post about YOU! the exact thing you were critisising ~m~ for! what you said was mean and heartless...and there IS something special about every individual time it happens to anybody...every miscarriage is a baby lost that we will never get to know....i often wonder about the s_x, personality, and changes my lost baby would have brought to my life!!! and it makes me sick to hear you say its nothing special! if you are not here to help and comfort people then why post at all???

A while back I was readying a story about this women who had 8 miscarriages in her life. She and her husband went to go see a fertility specialts, the doctor said everything seems to be perfect on her.Her husband had two kids already so she didn't think it could of been him but it was.His sperm swam backwards. After another 3 miscarrying. They finally conceived and now have 5 beautiful kids!
