Doomsday Doctor

I am so fed up with my doctor... went in for an u/s a month ago, doc was delivering another child so wasn't there - u/s went ok, but baby was turned wrong so they couldn't check the face and brain, etc. The doc on call reviewed the u/s and said all looked well, but they wanted to see the rest of baby, so I had to resched another one which is still a month away. Yesterday went in for my monthly checkup and my doc says everything measures great (22 weeks) heart rate great, babies movements normal BUT when reviewing the u/s from the month before says, "there may be an increased blood flow to one side of the heart, a faint echo but we'll need to check that at your next u/s to make sure everything is ok" and then sent me on my now not-so-merry way. two days ago I was happily going along feeling baby kick etc, but now I have nagging worries about heart defects, combined with my "advanced" (34) maternal age and the doc circling the "suspected fetal abnormality" listing (number 634 of the catastrophe's a baby can have...) on my receipt...and another month before anything definate can be found. Do they stress us out on purpose - what was the purpose in telling me that?? He knows the u/s is still a month away and he cant tell me anything more than there "may" be a problem?? Why not just write that down somewhere as a note to himself and then if there IS a problem to give me all the facts when he's got them! Jeesh! I would have much rather went on my way happily for another month and then dealt with a problem if we KNEW there was one...
