Dr Appointment Question

My dr just changed the way he did things at his office. Before he use to do one hour with the nurse to go over medical history, the 2nd appoint about a week later was with the dr which they did a pap smear and culture and examined everything. the 3rd visit was when they did the ulta sound. I kind of like the new way there are doing things but i am not sure it's going to be the greatest. They still the one hour nurse the first visit, but they switched the ultra sound to the second visit Which i have this monday. Now i am only going to be about 9 weeks along, but the last time they waited to do the ultra sound at 3 months the baby had no heart beat. Now i am just wondering, if the ultra sound comes back with a baby's heart beat, will there still be a chance that i might lose it?????

There's always that chance, but don't worry about that! Just enjoy your pregnancy! If you are really worried, go to target and buy that doppler thing where you can listen to the baby's heartbeat. I'm not sure what amount of weeks you need to be to hear it, but it might calm your mind to hear it. Just don't panic if you can't hear it, it could be the machine or the way that you are holding it!
