Due Date Question

Ellie - May 4

Well, EPT gave me a post_tive the 11th of April and First Reponse gave me a negative the 13th of April. I got it coniformed the 25th at the doctors. Could EPT have given me a false post_tive? Then I am not as pregnant as I am thinking I am. Should I bring this up to my OB GYN, when I go to my appointment? could EPT have given me a false post_tive? My LMP started Feb 27th. Anyone have an opinions here? SHould I bring this up to the OB GYN?

You can if you want. But for whatever crazy a__s reason they go by your last menstral period anyway, not the day you ovulated or the day you concieved. So according to the way it is counted you are normally considered about two weeks farther along then you really are. I asked my doc why it was done that way and she told me she had beat her head into the wall for a long time trying to figure it out but she couldn't. She doesn't know why it is done that way it just is. So basically it really won't matter if you bring it up or not, they will use Feb. 27th because that was the date of your LMP.

It definately wouldn't hurt to bring it up... I'm sure your OB GYN could give you an answer.. and it would probably ease your mind

My husband used to work at a lab where they make pregnancy tests. Sometimes the tests can be made wrong (he brought one home and showed me how it showed him being pregnant..ha..ha). The doctor should be able to tell how many weeks pregnant you are if they do an early ultrasound.
