Easing My Wifes Concerns

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi. My wife is 9 weeks pregnant and living with a deathly fear of anything going wrong with her pregnancy. The thing that she fears the most is that if something does go wrong, everyone will blame her. This is far from the truth, I could not imagine anyone blaming her for anything should the worst happen. I am just looking for a little advice on how I might be able to reassure her that nothing will go wrong and if it does, no one will blame her. Any help would be greatly appreciated! __________________ Lee Contact everyone with one email... BirthAlerts.net Contacting so many has never been so easy

Once she is out of the first trimester (14 weeks) the chance of loss decreases drastically. If a loss does occur this early, there is nothing anyone can do about it and it is typically due to chromosome issues (noones fault). I think most of us live with the fear that we can lose our babies, I know I do and it's very nerve racking. Also once she sees/hears the heartbeat, the chance of loss also decreases. Most pregnancies have positive outcomes. Is this your first? I wish you both good luck and a happy healthy pregnancy.

Oh, I guess I wasn't paying attention. I thought you couldn't post web sites here? Thanks Ann.
