Eating Fish

This may sound like a silly question, but I will go ahead and ask. I am 7 weeks preg. with my first baby, and didn't know I wasn't supposed to eat tuna. I had two tuna salad sandwhiches this week. Is that something I should worry about? I normally don't eat fish, in fact I can't remember the last time I've had it. Hopefully, I'm worried over nothing.

You can eat up to 12 oz of tuna per week.I always have and my babies were fine.

The FDA recommends eating up to 12 oz of fish a week. Stick to canned light tuna and avoid albacore (white) tuna which has more mercury. Also avoid shark, swordfish, king mackerel, and tilefish. Large, long-lived, predatory ocean fish have the highest mercury levels.
