Emergency Contraceptives And Pregnancy

Hello All, My question is a simple one (is there such a thing when it comes to pregnancy?). I would like to know, if sperm enters a woman's body a few days after she has taken an emergency contraceptive, is there a possibility of her becoming pregnant? Or is she temporarily immune to sperm until she gets her next period? Thanking any advice, tennineeight

EC does not advertise itelf as a "one pill a month" contraceptive. Since the hormones in EC affect both ovulation and implantation, the chance of pregnancy would be reduced in your scenario, but don't count on it. What are you doing having unprotected s_x only a few days after having an accident that required EC? One would think that one lesson like that in a month would be enough. Good luck!

Thank you for your advice Grandpa Viv. I appreciate it. Well, it isn't that I plan to do anything after the accident, I was merely curious about what EC actually does to a woman's body during that time. Thank you once again. Your information was very helpful!
