Enema

Should I do an enema on my own at home the night before getting induced? because with induction your bowels dont have a chance to clean themselves out as they do with a natural labour.

I would check with your doctor before you go ahead and do it yourself. It's best to see if s/he recommends it. Some doctors actually require you to have an enema but they usually do it for you. Atleast that's what my doctor did. He told me well in advance that an enema was to be given to me prior to being induced. I was induced with both my pregnancies and was given an enema both times.

my doctor never mentioned it, and I am going in this saturday. Should I maybe call tommorow and make an appt with her to ask questions about the induction procedure and what not?

If you're unsure about anything leading up to Saturday definitely bring it up with your doctor. Besides, it doesn't hurt to ask. It'll probably put you more at ease once you know. I would atleast call to see if you can speak with her to find out. I wish you the best of luck and congrats to you!! Soon you'll have your little one in your arms!
