Falling Asleep And Charlies

I am 23 weeks pregnant and for about a week I have had my feet and hands fall asleep more than usual...Also, I have woken up in the middle of the night with painful Charlie Horses in my calves...Any ideas of why or if this is normal?

Yeah, my wife has charlie horses every night! She is 34 weeks! But has had them for about 10 weeks. I used to get them playing basketball. I would spring out of bed and they would go away once I stretched out...

Eat more bananas. It may be a low level of potasium.

I had that happen all the time w/ my 1st preg. The charlie horses are the worst! Just stand up and stretch it out. The numbness probably just has to do with your circulation changing as your body changes. Make sure you aren't sleeping on your back! Good luck w/ everything!
