Father And Son Having Same Amount Of The Same Gender

I know the male determines the gender of a baby. My question is, has anyone ever noticed what the father has the most of the son most likely will too, or the opposite? Ex: Your father-in-law had mostly boys, so your husband also has had more boys than girls. Or the opposite: Your father in law had mostly boys, and your husband had more girls? Just wondering. I've seen it go both ways.

well, if you've seen it go both ways, wouldn't that indicate it's random?

my FIL had 2 boys, the oldest son had a girl, and my dh and I are pregnant with our second girl!

I hope it's the opposite. My FIL had 2 boys and I want a girl:)

My husband is on of 3 boys but between them they have 5 girls and one boy.I think it's luck of the draw.

Well, my husband is the only boy in his family (he has 3 sisters). Two of his sister's have 3 girls each and the other has 2 girls. We produced the only boy in the family... along with 2 more girls. I would hazard the guess that his sisters have acidic body chemicals that kills off the boy sperms?! That is just my guess... who really knows?

I don't think you're on to something here. My husband is the only boy and has 4 sisters. After this baby is born, we will have 2 boys and 1 girl. Same with his sister, who also has 2 boys and 1 girl. I think your theory is more coincidence than anything. :o)
