I am 19 weeks and waiting to feel the movement and I have been told that the movement feels like a flutter. How do you know for sure that it is the baby and not gas or something? Does the movement happen alot at one time or is it just like one flutter.

At 19 weeks I was wandering the same thing and people kept telling me that wha I was feeling was gas!! I am now 21 weeks along and my baby is very active and I can distiguish between gas and movement. It happend to be movement all along. Although people feel the baby move at different times. Now that I know what it feels like it was definatly not gas moving when I was 19, it was the first movments of my baby. It is kinda like a sudden "flutter" at once in the begining and then it happens all the time. If you think you are feeling it move you probably are, and be ready for it to keep growing active!!! How fun!!!!!

I think there is a big difference between gas and movement. You will know the difference to im sure. I noticed it straight way wit my first pregnancy. I knew it was not gas.
