Foot And Ankle Swelling

I am 6 1/2 months along and just started having foot and ankle swelling. It's not as bad as some, I'm not denting. But very uncomfortable and ugly. Is there something I can do about it? I drink lots of water all day long but that doesn't seem to have any effect. I don't eat a lot of salt all the time, although I probably eat more than I should.

I'm 5 months and I've been having trouble with my feet swelling for a wekk now. I walk a lot during the day at my job and I wear small heels. I had to go and buy more comfortable shoes last night. Something that is more open and not restricting to the feet. Water helps, I drink a lot of water during the day. What I have found that really helps...is pedicures!! Soaking the feet and letting someone rub them :) Good Stuff!

I am 6 months as well. My doc says to elevate your feet as much as possible. If you are standing or sitting a lot during the day, and cannot elevate, then you may need to invest in some compression stockings. Apparently they work wonders, and prevent you from getting varicose veins. Otherwise it seems like you are doing everything else!! (I'm with Lolo, pedicures and soaking my feet are great too!! )
