Gagging And Weird Saliva

Is anyone else having issues with excessive gagging and a sort of stringy consistency to your saliva? I am 12 weeks and this particular side effect has been with me since about week 5. Doesn't seem to be tapering off at all.

If you mean that thick nasty tasting saliva, yes I have it. That was one of my first symptoms and now i'm 28 weeks and still have it. Its so disgusting.

I gag all the time. I swear my gag reflex is in the middle of my tongue now! I can't even brush my teeth and tongue withour gagging. It SUCKS!!

My gag reflex is in high gear too. Brushing my teeth is the worst. I have thrown up a couple times from gagging so much, and then I have to brush all over again. LOL. I have found that drinking hot tea seems to loosen up the nasty saliva a little. Let me know if anyone has any other suggestions. :)

I now dread brushing my teeth for the same reason, the gagging leads to vomitting nastiness. Now that I am past 3 months, I thought it would go away. The best I can say is that is doesn't happen all of the time for me anymore. Yuck.

I find it harder to bear in the morning rather than at night... really strange

When I was pregnant with my twins I had to spit every other sec which was not very pretty. I pray I dont get the spitties again with this baby.
