Gender Feelings

I am the mother of an 18-month old daughter and I am 13 weeks preggo w/ #2. My question is, does anyone else feel like they know what they're having? How many have been right? With my daugter I knew she was a she from the get-go. And everyone around me said, yup, its a girl. In my circle of friends and family, every time someone gets pregnant, it is so automatic, everyone comes to a consensus about the s_x, and we are usually right. Now I feel like I'm having a boy, and so does everyone else. Are we crazy or is there something to this?

I totally think there is something to it. I have always just known what my children were going to be. Except everyone around me thought I was crazy. But I have always been right! I haven't had any feelings of what this baby will be though...I can't wait to know though!

I was CONVINCED I was having a boy. So so so convinced...until the u/s when they said GIRL! I was sure I was right...and who knows, I still maybe...I'm 32.5 weeks now but I'm pretty sure it's a girl too. But in the beginning...all my guy instincts said boy...and I really wanted a boy. but now as long as it's healthy I could care less! I guess my mother's intuition isn't quite "On" yet! ;)

In the beginning I really wanted a boy, but as my pregnancy went on I had this gut instinct that said it is a GIRL! I find out tomorrow, so I shall let you know what is really going on and if I should join Ms. Cleo's Psychic hotline! j/p

Just like livdea, I was convinced I was having a girl the first time I was pregnant. Surprise, Surprise, it was a boy! With my second pregnancy I was sure it was another boy, and it was. This time I'm feeling girl again, but I guess we'll see. Right now I'm 50/50 on my predictions, but I do know people that have been right everytime. Maybe you are one of those lucky ones. Good luck!

My husband and I were both sure we were having a boy, and we did. As a matter of fact, my husband told me I was pregnant with a boy before my period was even late! Everyone else around us guessed boy as well.

It is weird, but my mom-in-law is wrong every time, so whatever her first instinct is, it is the opposite. Hehehe. So the first thing she said when we told her was "I think you're having a girl so its going to be a boy." She's been wrong on every baby for the last 20 years. Anyway, it is good to know that we aren't the only ones out there who play this game every time.

I knew from the day I found out I was pregnant that it was a boy and 2 weeks ago we found out....It's a boy! I def believe mothers know!

I dreamed about having a boy over and over again. I confirmed that it's a boy and the dreams stopped. I guess once I had visual confirmation, I didn't need the dreams to tell me anymore.

When I found out at 5 weeks that I was pregnant, I told everybody that I was having a boy, I was so convinced right from the start..Had the sonographer said something different at my 20 wk u/s, I simply would have not believed it to be true...Anyway, I am having a boy!

i called my baby a 'he' from day one, and my partner and I have always referred to the little bundle as 'bob' (though that is not gonna be his name). We were also drawn to boys clothes. The sonographer is 99.9% certain it is a boy, but of course there is the chance she can be wrong. Interestingly enough all the old wives tales and the chinese calendar predicted a boy (except for the palms up / palms down one!)

I knew with my first baby that it was a girl right away and noone could tell me different! Now I'm 18.5 weeks and at first thought it was a bay for sure, then I started getting mixed emotions so now I have absolutely no clue. I can't choose one or the other. But i go for my sonogram today at 3:00 eastern time. and hopefully we will see what we have. Although I do refer to the baby as boy most of the time...
