Hello, has anyone else had this problem!! I'm a dedicated worker-outer, it's even my job since I run a gym, but I'm in my eighth week and my nausea and tiredness has completely dragged me down, will my energy return in the second trimester?? I try getting out there and doing it, but I feel like I have 50lb. weights tied to my feet! It's horrible!!

Leahp, I feel your pain, Now a days I just walk around the mall (Window shopping) for excercise....

I used to run about 4 times a week. I am currently 7 weeks pregnant and even before I knew I was pregnant I could not run more than a mile without feeling exhausted. The doc told me to hold off with the workouts since it drains me, so I am.

thanks ladies!! That's what I was thinking I should get as much rest as possible and when my energy returns, hopefully in the second trimester, I'll hit it hard or as hard as preggos can!!!

Yes I'm the same, I used to go to the gym 4 or 5 times a week and do a full-on intense work out. My midwife told me to just do light exercise like walking or swimming so I quit the gym but I'm really missing it! Plus I miss the social side to going the gym too. I don't really go out anymore! I know it will be worth it when my baby's born though and I'll soon get back into exercise.
