Has anyone's tubal pregnancy ruptured, even though they received the shot of methotrexate? Mine ruptured on a Sunday at after getting the shot of Methotrexate on Saturday. I was only 5 weeks pregnant. Would like to here from you if you have been in the same boat.

I had a shot at 7-8 weeks, my tube did not rupture, but I was in tremendous amount of pain on one side, apparently where the pregnancy was. In my case the hcg levels where raising slowly so the pregnancy was not developing at a normal rate, which was what saved me from a tubal rupture - the lower increase in the hcg raised a red flag that allow the doctors to do all tests and deduct I had an ectopic pregnancy. I was supposed to have a test a couple of months later - the ones wheret they inject dye thru the tubes to make sure there was no damage. However, I got preggo before that!. Hang in there. I know how painful it is both emotionally and physically. However, you must look at the bright side - you guys where able to conveive! That is half the battle right there!

I HAD AN ECTOPIC PREGNANCY IN FEB. I WAS ABOUT 6 WEEKS PREGNANT. I THOUGHT I WAS HAVING MY PERIOD BECAUSE IT WAS AROUND THE SAME TIME. BUT I KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG WHEN I WENT TO USE THE LADIES ROOM AND I STARTED BLEEDING AGAIN. A FEW DAYS LATER I WAS STILL BLEEDING. I CALLED MY DOC AND THEY WANTED ME TO DO A URINE TEST. THE NEXT MORNING I CALLED FOR THE RESULTS AND LOST IT WHEN SHE SAID I WAS PREGNANT. I WANT A BABY BUT I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING REALLY WRONG. I AM ONLY 19 AND THAT HAS TO BE THE WORST THING TO GO THOUGH. THEY DID A D AND C ON FEB 15 AND THEN ON THE 17TH THEY GAVE ME THE SHOT. I WAS FINE AFTER THAT. EMOTIONALLY IT HURTS TO THINK BACK BUT I KNOW IT WASN'T MY FAULT. I WAS LUCKY TO CATCH IT SO EARLY. I AM OK AND I THINK I MIGHT BE PREGNANT AGAIN. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK. I HAVE READ ALOT OF INFORMATION AND TALKED TO NURSES ABOUT THIS. GOOD LUCK.
