HI IM LYNN AND MY DR TOLD ME THAT I HAVE A CYST IN MY RIGHT SIDE, SO MONTH LATER I DID MY CHECK UP AND THERE WAS NO CYST, BUT LAST MONTH I MISSED MY PERIOD FOR 3 DAYS BUT I WASN'T PREGNANT , IS IT POSSIBLE THAT I WAS (I FEELING SOME SYMTOMS) AND I LOST IT BECAUSE OF THE CYST. AND IS IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO GET PREGNANT AND STILL HAVE THE CYST? THANKS

Lynn...The cyst that you had was probably what caused you to miss your period...when we miss a period we tend to shake up our nerves thinking that we are pregnant and this can bring on "symptoms" that are not real...It is possible for you to get pregnant with a cyst...they say it is harder to do so..but I did...Cysts are actually very common in pregnancy and as long as they dont grow to be large they can be a good thing...I dont see how a cyst could make you lose a pregnancy...the only way I think that this could happen would be if the cyst burst...if that happened you would have known...for I hear it is one of the most painful things to go through...Most cysts go away on there own within a cycle...if you are ttc...good luck..and keep trying

I would suggest going to the doctor's and have him schedule to have them removed (or drained, whichever they do for these).

Having cyst makes it very difficult to get pregnant

I don't know if I had it or not before I got pregnant, but I had an ultrasound when I was 7 weeks pregnant and he noticed I had a cyst on my right ovary. I didn't have trouble getting pregnant, it only took 3 months. He said it was pretty common actually.
