I would have the usual headaches but now that I am pregnant I have them about 3-4 times a week. Does anyone know why this is and is it a serious matter? I am 16 weeks and go to the doctor tomorrow but I was wandering if I was alone in this matter????

You are not alone in this matter at all Headaches are Perfectly normal it is due to increased blood flow in your body I use to get Really bad headaches when i was preg with my first I would have to use a warm washcloth on my forhead and cold one on the back of my neck or vise versa because i could not even take tylenol my first 12 weeks believe me it does relieve the pain you have the washcloth method that is. Good luck and make sure you bring it up to your doc just to make sure but that is what everyone has told me even my docs Good luck again

I too have been getting them and I'm 12 weeks, I planned on calling my doctor today, to find out if it is normal? Did you your doctor tell you why you're getting headaches?

I am going to the Doctor today, Monday, and am going to ask her. They just popped up this past month. And they are head aches that don't go away, not even sometimes with tylenol. I will ask though and post my answer.

My doctor basically said what kellie did, raised blood pressure, hormones changing. Nothing serious as of right now. But she did mention that they keep a close eye on them when you get closer to delivery because it could cause complications.

Exactly right IN the end of Preg it can be a sign of high blood pressure and a couple of other things. Good luck and i hope it gets better for you
