Im 17,but I am not pregnant nor do I wish to be until I am married but I do have a question.I am only 4'9" at 17 yrs old,and according to my doctor I will not get any taller, will I still be able to safely be pregnant and have a child despite my size when the time is right?

I am 22 and 4'11''. I am 4 months pregnant and told that there is no reseaon why I can't have a normal child birth. Everyone else was telling me I would have to have a c-section but that's not true. It also doesn't matter if you have small hips or not. So you should be fine.

Eryn is right, i am 5'2, and had really small hips if any and weighed 101, everyone told me i would have a c-section cuz the baby wouldnt fit or that my baby would come out really small, that was not true, i gave birth to a 7lbs, 6oz, 21 1/4 inches long baby girl, size doesnt matter

I'm 5'3, with a pre-pregnancy weight of 103...I may have to have a C-section, but that's because thus far, it looks like I'm having a BIG baby...don't worry about your size right now; when you do get pregnant, ask your doctor; you should be able to carry normally, and, as far as I know, the worst that can happen is a c-section to prevent something like shoulder distocia.
