from what they say a blood test can come back positive around 10 days after ovulation, but I would wait until you have missed your period.

Urine tests work from when your period is due. A blood test is more sensitive, so it can work before then. I would suggest that you wait at least until 3 weeks after you think you may have got pregnant, then go and get a blood test as it should be able to confirm it for you.
