kat that made no sense. I would talk to your doctor because there are different things they can do. also if the baby has HIV antibodies when its born, i heard there are things they can do to prevent them from getting aids.

Hope this helps.... My Aunt has been hiv positive for about 12 years now. She had had 2 children. One is 5 and the other is 2. Both are doing great and so far no hiv.. You can have a child and everything will be ok. There is so many precautions that prevent the spread to the baby. My uncle continues to have unprotected s_x with her and he is also still neg (lucky). Talk to your doc so you guys can start planning.. Best wishes and good luck!!!!

I hope this is a sincere post and not a joke because it's not a funny one. If you have a desire to have a kid, you have options. Adopting a child is a good one. If you have such a yearning to carry a child of your own, there are ways to have a baby without pa__sing on your HIV. C sections are performed to alleviate the chances of pa__sing on the disease to your baby. Another thing to consider is what you would do if you got sick. Are you married? If not, who would care for your baby? Some things to think about. Go to your doctor and tell him you're considering this and get his advice.
