How Early Can You Pump

When I have the baby, I want my husband to be able to help feed the baby on his days off. (does anyone do that?) How early can I pump a couple bottles here and there?

I pumped at about two weeks after I had my daughter. I would say that you can start pumping after your milk comes in which should be a day or two after you have your baby. You can also freeze the milk and warm in up via hot water as microwaving it will deplete the important nutrients. Also, fyi, don't let it sit out to get warm and then shake it....it turns into a b___ter/creamy type consistensy...my sister learned that one! LOL
