Is it likely to get pregnant after your egg has left the flaopllan tube?

Most of what you read is that sperm+egg happens in the fallopian tube. It also happens that an egg is only viable for 24 to 36 hours after ovulation, and this is about the transit time. Same conclusion. Women who depend on the natural family planning method (rhythm) use this as a means to determine when s_x is safe, but they get pregnant more often than people who use condoms.
