How long after you quite taking birth control contraceptives does it take to conceive?? I havent taking my contraceptives since June and I am still waiting. It is ever so frusterating. Please help.

It is different for everyone hon. Sorry. Some women it takes months. Me, it took 3 weeks. I was super fertile the month I went off the pill - I was lucky. Don't despair. Doctors usually say 6 months is the average time to try conceiving. If by December you are not pregnant then you should talk to a fertility doctor. By they way, I hope you are bd'd every other day!

I stopped taking the pill at the end of Feb, and still no luck. I'm hoping this month, but it doesn't look like it. I haven't given up yet, because I heard it take take awhile for the hormones in your body to become regular again and for you to start ovulating. Good Luck!!

I got pregnant in the next cycle after I stopped the pill, so I guess it depends on your body. Good luck to ya.

It took me about 5 months. Stopped in January and concieved in May. Just be patient.

My sister-in-law has been off the pill for 6 months and is still not prego. I quit taken the pill last month and I am prego this month. Every woman is different. Good Luck!

Took me 4 weeks to concieve after going off the pill. I was suprised and thought it would take much longer. Everyone is different. They say it can take up to 6 months.
