Sperm can not live in the v____a for 14 days. Some studies suggest the longest time is it can survive is half that-- 7 days. Still other say up to 5 at best, this means that you could have become pregnant up to 5-7 days after s_x. This only true if you ovulated during that time.

My OB/GYN told me that sperm will only live in the v____a for three days. My OB/GYN advised that conception is 24-48 hours after ovulation.

ok, sperm only lives in the VAGINA for a couple of hours!! It lives in the UTERUS for 3-5 days, hanging around the fallopian tubes just waiting for that egg to be released, at which time the sperm sense this and start to swim towards it...if the sperm are chilling out in the right fallopian tube since they seem to alternate every month...so..v____a and uterus are two seperate things, and yes the egg is only 12-24 hours, but if spermies are in there b4 ejaculation...well you know the rest...

Your egg was fertilized some time between July 2nd and July 9th. If you kept a calendar of your periods, your best guess is 14 days before the start of your first missed period. Count 266 days from then for your due date.
