Human Resource Question

I was recently contacted by an in-house recruiter for a top company, who has asked me to interview for a position reporting to a former manager. This manager and I got along fabulously and I would love to work for him again. My salary would increase dramatically, company stock has doubled in the past two years and expected to continue to rise. Best of all they have onsite daycare and offer 4 months of paid maternity on top of the my short term disability eligibility. This is my dream job in every sense and I've worked hard enough for the past 15 years to earn this opportunity! Here is my dilemma. I'm nearly 19 weeks pregnant. I show a little bit but my suit covers enough to make me look like I have a beer gut and not pregnant. When should I tell them I'm pregnant? I say after I have signed the offer letter because I don't want to lose this opportunity. My husband says I should disclose immediately because its not fair to work for 4 months and then take 6-8 months maternity leave.

I think your hubby is right, If I were you I'd tell them right away.....so they wouldnt be in a BIG SHOCK.....if you know what Im sayin. Plus FMLA indicates that they can not discriminate you.....if you were to apply for a job just because your pregnant. Im sure you're familiar w/ FMLA law...
