Husband On Wellbutrin Lexapro

Hi everyone, I'm hoping some of you have already had babies and can answer this question: my husband is on Wellbutrin and Lexapro. (I'm not on anything) - I am wondering what - if any - are the potential dangers of getting pregnant - can it harm the fetus to be conceived by a man on anti-depressants? (surely it must alter his sperm in some way - and I cannot imagine in a good way) We really want to start a family, but realistically, he cannot go off meds..he tried, and it wasn't much fun, to say the least. Does anyone out there have experience with this situation? I'd appreciate any insight you could share...

i'm the one who was on meds when we concieved. i only recently stopped taking them. by all accounts the baby is healthy as can be. i wouldn't worry about it. good luck starting your family.

Thank you both... I suppose I'd be reading a lot of warning posts if there was anything to be worried about - and they've been on the market long enough to have had repercussions... but it's nice to get first hand feedback -I truly appreciate the time you took to reply.
