Hypothetical Question

Hypothetical question... If I had s_x on cd14 & cd20, and my cycles were not a standard 28 days but 35-40. Which days would I most likely have ovulated?

If your cycles are between 35 and 40 days long, then you most likely would have ovulated sometime between cd 19 and cd 30. The luteal phase - the time between ovulation and AF - is pretty constant in length and can be anywhere in length from 10 to 16 days.

hypothetically if you had started af on 2-13 and had been 35 days your ov would have been between 3-4 and 3-7. here is a link to the web site I got that from ............http://www.parenting.com/parenting/pregnancy/tools/fertilitycalculator/0,21074,,00.html or just go to parenting.com and click on fertility calculator.

actually my LMP was on nov 26th. I had s_x on cd14 and cd20 only. I am trying to figure out what is the best possibility for ovulation since I am pregnant and was with 2 different men. The charts say I ovulated cd14 and fetal measurements say I ovulated( conceived) cd20. It's so annoying how the only time I had s_x that month are the only 2 exact possible times I may have conceived !!! Very frustrated here !!! Should I go by fetal measurements or by the chart? ( obviously I wont know for sure until I get a paternity test but in the meantime I can't get it off my mind )

In my opinion, I'd say the fetal measurements b/c charts aren't always accurate. Of course, you won't know until the paternity test.

thailiya you ovulate 14 days b4 your period so 35 - 14 makes it about 21 days counted back from when u expected your next period but sprem can live for upto a week not usally that long but 5 days. yup youll need a paternity test

They always say that early measurements are more accurate than predictions based on LMP. Good luck. I hope it is the guy you'd prefer!
