I Keep Getting Bigger By The Day

Okay I'm starting to get a little nervous here. I can't believe how fast I'm getting big. Everyone is like shocked when I tell them I'm not due till Oct 21st. I have this perfectly huge 9 month belly and I'm only 30 wks! I can't imagine what's going to happen over the next 10 weeks. I'm getting scared. I've gained soooo much weight. Every morning I get on the scale and it is always two pounds more no matter how careful I am with what I eat! It's starting to freak me out. I was so thin before and now I'm this bulging hag with cellulite everywhere. It's just disgusting. My doc still wasn't concerned but I'm sure come Tuesdays she's gonna flip when she sees how much I've gained in just two weeks! I try to go out walking but everything in my belly area gets really tight and crampy and my hips start aching like mad and I feel like my lungs are being crushed and can't breath worth a shit! Is this normal? I'm almost up to 35 lbs for weight gain!!!! I'm sick of everyone saying they can't believe I have 2.5 more months to go too cus I look due any day now! I hate this!!!! Sorry baby, but you need to come out soon!!!!

Are you small to begin with? I am the same I feel like every day I have gained another pound. I think I am going to stay off the scale for a while. I am 31 weeks and have gained 25 lbs. and like you said still have 9 weeks to go! With my first I gained 50 lb.s so I am really trying hard to eat right but it still doesn't matter.

I'm 5'2" and weighed 115 befoe I got pg. I've never been big. I swear if my belly gets any bigger it's going to start hanging down on the ground. Gross! I know you're supposed to get big but everyone says I look 9 months already so I can't imagine how much bigger I'm going to get!

I so feel your pain... Although I am at week 37 now... But I am HUGE.... And not very big normally, either... 115lbs normally, give or take. And now, I can not even find a shirt that fits. I grew so fast, that a shirt would fit me one week and then it wouldn't even stretch over my belly by the next. It is embarra__sing to tell people the due date when you are like that! But my Mom got really big, and I guess some of it is heredity. At the post office yesterday, someone came up to me and said, "I think you may be having the biggest baby ever!" Thanks! Hang in there... You are just building a healthy baby! I am sure you look great, too! Is this your first??

Dont feel bad, I'm the same way. I am 30 weeks but look like I'm waaaaay OVERDUE! I have several maternity tops that I used to laugh at cause they were so big that are now to small.

Heidi - August 12

It's my first and last!!!! I didn't plan on really having kids but always thought if I did, it would be just one. Now I know why. Ha ha! I feel healthy but I just hate to see what happens to my body after the baby is born. I'll probably walk around with skin hanging everywhere. Ugh!

Julie - August 12

I know what you mean some of my maternity clothes are now too small!

Does the cellulite go away? My legs look like jello! I have not worn shorts all summer and its sooooo hot here! Hopefully the next ten weeks fly by so I can start dieting! I just hope I get my old b___t and legs back by next summer so I'm not miserable like this year.

I stopped weighing myself weeks ago, because I was so disgusted with myself. My doctor doesn't seem bothered how much I weigh, so I haven't got a clue what I am now. I've gained well over 30 lbs though and I think I'm growing another a__s! If someone painted me green right now, I'd be a dead ringer for Shrek's girlfriend, after she's turned into a troll! I hate it too. I still have 3 and a half weeks left and then of course I'm b___stfeading which means I can't go on a crash diet. Hang in there Heidi. We'll all be miserable together. :)

Yes the cellulite goes away I had it with my son and once I lost all the weight it was gone. I used some kind of cellulite slimming cream from Avon it worked.

Breastfeeding or not, I'm definately going to hit the gym big time. I can't wait. I'm not used to feeling so sluggish and lazy. Exercise makes my belly ache and my hips start hurting. Usually this time of year I'd be out walking, swimming, biking, whatever. Now I can't do any of that. Yeah my legs are nasty. Never looked like that before! I pray to god it goes away after the baby is born!

Lissi - August 12

I can't exercise either. Just going to the supermarket, gives me cramps and backache for the rest of the day. I can't wait to be able to do some sit ups again.

Heidi - August 12

Yeah it's pretty bad when I can't even walk three blocks without feeling like all my belly muscles are tearing apart. Ouch! I should get back on my bike instead. I can't wait to do my belly crunches at the gym! I found out I was pg when I just joined the gym so I haven't been able to enjoy it at all.

Oh girls I feel you I really do. At 33 1/2 weeks going to the fridge is a maraton run. Bf tells me am waddling like a whale now instead of walking. Very nice thing to say. Julie thanks for letting me know that the weight and celulite comes off. Lissi my doc laughs at me when it is time to weigh me. Last visit I have gained a total of 28 pounds and this is the heaviest I have been in my life. Like you Heidi I watch what I eat and eat small meals etc. My doc said I should gain a average of 1 pound a week from here on , most going to the baby. That sounds good. I plan on hitting the gym also. I have Denise Aaustin and Billy Blanks in my living room waiting on me and I also have some gym forms to sign up at a local gym. I told bf he has to babysit for an hour each evening. He is 90 % : ) to blame for this happening so he has to help me get back into shape. Oh yea I am having awful leg cramps and back ache. This has put a dent in excercise.

The one consolation I have, is that I will never be this big again. This is as bad as it gets (weight wise). I do want another baby, but next time, I'll be more careful not indulge my midnight cravings for things like cookies and icecream. Baby and I are going to do lots of walking when she gets here. :)

KrisD - August 12

I am so afraid I will be twice as big with baby #2... Isn't that how it goes?!

don't feel so bad ladies...with my last pregnancy i outgrew my extra large MATERNITY clothes! towards the end, people were asking me if i was expecting triplets!! he ended up being very big, 11 and-a-half lbs., so i had a good reason. enjoy your bellies, your healthy babies, and remember: big is beautiful!! :-)
