So far I had a yogurt, a granola bar, a peach, ramen noodles, a banana, and a vendor machine bag of snack mix. It's only 1 pm edt!!!! Does anyone else eat like a horse while pregnant???

Well, at the least most of the food you are eating is pretty healthy! =)

I ate like that in my first trimester but the stuff you're eating doesn't have a lot of fat calories so you get hungry really quick. I used to eat yogurt, granola bars, fruit, and nothing stuck to my ribs. I'd be starving 20 minutes later. I love Ramen noodles. I drain the broth and put b___ter and parmeasan cheese on them. Yummmm!!!!!

I haven't had that happen to me yet, although my appet_te has surprised me here and there! I NEVER ate a full meal at dinner time, I'd always fill up before I was finished. Well, the other day, I was at my mothers' for "family dinner" night and had yellow rice, mashed potatoes, roast beef, corn, green beans, and 1 & 1/2 brownies after that. I couldn't believe it!

I was like that when I was pregnant too. Most days I would just pick and would never be able to finish and some days I was like a human vacuum!! I would snarf down everything on my plate in record time and my mother and bf would be sitting there counting my fingers to make sure I didn't eat one of them by accident!! lol

Yeah, they kept laughing at me because I did actually bite my cheek, lip and a finger, not to mention hitting my teeth with the fork.

The irony? I still haven't gained a pound.

Heidi - I eat ramen noodles with parm. cheese!! I can't stoomach b___ter though. Tee hee - not gained a pound?!? I hate you in a very friendly way. And an update - I'm heading to the vending machine again for a much needed snickers. Work is sooo boring, that must be why I am eating so much.

Actually, I'm kinda worried about that. I had lost about 7 pounds before I knew I was pregnant from all the lovely "sick", that was 7 pounds that I HAD gained before the "sick". So, actually, I did gain some but that was 3 months ago and then I just lost it all! I should have gained SOMETHING back, shouldn't I?

Tee hee - how far along are you? I think it's normal to lose weight if you are really sick and sometimes it doesn't come back on until the 2nd trimester. From what I read on the internet while trying to figure how much I should gain. That's not a problem for me at all. What does your dr. say?

Tee hee! - June 27

I'm 15 weeks. My doctor didn't seem concerned about it though.

When's your due date? Decemer what?

Jen - June 27

Be careful with the Ramen noodles, they are loaded with salt. In hot weather they can make you b__w up like a balloon if you don't have a lot to drink with it.

LKJ - June 27

Even if I drain the broth they're loaded with salt? They are so good though!

Due 12/19 (the date of my first date with my husband!)

Hello - June 27

The doctor told me she would rather see me eat 6 different times a day than to eat alot of unhealthy or fatty foods so I have been snacking alot on Triscuits w/ cut up cheese and spinach leafs....its actually pretty good, lol, who knew?

Tee hee! (AKA Sarah) - June 27

I LOVE TRISCUITS!!! OOh, just about ANY cheese on a triscuit is sooooo yummy. My fav is cream cheese, sometimes with sliced olives (green or black) sometimes just the cheese. Mmmmm....I may have to go to the store.
