Hey, i just need a list of things that are good for me to eat while pregnant...and a list of bad things. Or even if you know of a site that can be informative. This is my first pregnancy so i dont even have an idea on whats ok (though i know the common sense stuff like no alcohol and caffine and all that good stuff) Any advice would be appreciated! thanks

There is a list of "to avoid foods" on this website. You can also check out march of dimes for a list...they are very similar. The most important is to stay away from unpastrized milk, cheese, and even fresh unpastrized juices. (Tropicana is a fresh pastrized juice that is safe to drink). In order to eat a healthy balanced diet you need to have the follwoing amount of servings each day: 5-6 servings of fruits and vegetables; 6-11 servings of grain (whole grain bread, pasta, rice, etc.); 3-4 servings of protien (meat, fish, chicken, eggs - make sure your eggs are cooked through); 3-4 servings of milk, and other dairy products. March of dimes has a good list of this where it tells you how much a serving should be. all the best to you :o)
